| LevelOne Distributor Meeting in Bangkok |

Digital Data Communications (owners of the Equip and LevelOne brands) hosted partners from Asia, Australia and New Zealand recently in Bangkok to discuss key developments within DDC as well as future directions for their product development.

Also present was DDC senior management from Asia and Europe, DDC CEO and President, Mr. Rudi Riedl and Ms. Amanda Chen. Other DDC branch offices present were DDC Germany, DDC Asia, DDC MENA (Dubai), DDC Australia, DDC Thailand, DDC South Africa and DDC East Africa.

The Product Management team from DDC Asia presented detailed information on the LevelOne Digital IP Surveillance solution. LevelOne has been investing more time and effort in developing their surveillance solution to be competitive in both the digital and analog surveillance markets. Nikki Chuang, PM Digital Surveillance, introduced new Surveillance products from LevelOne and also presented some key market information related to the surveillance industry.

Among the new products that are being launched at Computex this year are the 64 channel surveillance software packages, IP CamSecure Pro and IP CamSecure ProPlus that are able to manage IP Cameras from LevelOne and other leading manufacturers.

Also introduced were the new LevelOne 1-port PoE and 1-port Wireless video servers that connect directly to any analog camera, making it possible to integrate analog surveillance cameras into an IP network.

Kay Chen, PM Office and Industry Products, introduced LevelOne PoE devices and also discussed future developments within the PoE market that are leading to a new PoE standard that will be able to support higher voltage requirements from powered devices on the LAN.

Also presented was the new 24-port MidSpan hub that serves as a power to LAN gateway between non-PoE switches and PoE devices on the LAN. Kay also provided key overviews of future developments from LevelOne for PoE devices as well as current products available from LevelOne.

Equip product manager, Larry Tong, also made use of this opportunity to introduce partners to Equip products. Since Equip is still a young brand in Asia-Pacific, more time was spent after the presentation to talk about the range of passive networking products from Equip to DDC partners.

After the day’s presentations, DDC Thailand hosted the dinner at a well known Bangkok restaurant and bar.
